Yeah, that's probably where we disagree. I see those classic silver ovens as being the cooking source rather than a brick oven. I guess both have their place in NYC, so we're even!

Thick pizza is Chicago style, not NYC.

That's true. I said NYC's pizza was breadier than Anthony's Coal Fire. I never said it was "thick." I didn't notice the change in characterization when I quoted max's mama's post so thanks for clarifying.

No fauve, "thick" was something that you have said...that's okay though, it doesn't matter in a long run.

NYC pizza is bready, thick and greasy and Anthony's is crispy, thin and not at all greasy.

My apologies. Therein lies the misunderstanding. I didn't mean thick, Chicago-style thick or even NYC-style Sicilian thick. I meant thick vs Anthony's Coal Fire thin. We New Yorkers take our pizza seriously, don't we?

Yeah.... On top of that, I'm married to the damn Italiano who taught me to take it more seriously than I should.

I wish. Only delivery I know of in Weston is Del Vecchios, Pizza Fusion, or the regular chains. You might have luck getting Pizza Fusion to deliver to Davie, but that isn't comparable in any way. In Davie, you could try Antonio's, which is not affiliated with the one in Miramar, nor is it as good, but it does the job in a pinch and their entrees were decent.
