This board has been relatively low volume for the past couple of weeks. What's going on? Everybody happy about living in Cape Coral / Fort Myers? Is the economy improving, are houses selling, people enjoying life? Maybe it is because the naysayers haven't had much to talk about?

I'm not pitching anything, but I think life is good.

Busy working in NH so we can get back to CC in november.......our summer is like your winter here at the lake......thousands of tourists, endless traffic, lines at all the store and restaurants.
Thank God for the tourists (or snowbirds) in Florida......without them we'd be starving.
Sometimes, when you're trying to get to work or run an errand...straight out and busy and you get behind someone enjoying the sights and just poking along.........but I count to 10 and always remember that, without them,I probably wouldn't have my place on the Cape to enjoy in the winter.

Default Quietly making plans

Our plans are beginning to take shape and our business plans look viable too. Will be down before too long to look around. Putting our affairs in order so the move will be a smoother transition. Soon you will have another darned northerner to put up with, lol. Our small business will even need some help so maybe we can bring a job or two with us and put a Floridian back to work! Wish us luck...

Nothing has changed on this board or in Lee County, except that one member is missing. That person wrote post after post, thread after thread, and it makes it look like circumstances have changed when they have not. People are still moving in and out and some middle-aged males are still having their crises.

You guys talking 'bout me again?......

Hmmm, sometimes "Y" takes a break from his crisis, and goes to work for a few days when somebody is gracious enough to throw him a bone

Of course it isnt all about me, I know you might be referencing some other "Y"
