Sadly, I think we all make do with Publix.

I've been asking that questing for 11 years, since moving back to SWFL from Tampa. There's always Alessi and Olympia bakeries in Tampa. Panera for bread. Other than that, yes...we make do with Publix.

Okay. I'm confused. Did the I Like It Like That Bakery reopen or not?

The "I Like It Like That" bakery didn't reopen... a different bakery just opened where they used to be.

Not that I know of! The bakery where "I Like It Like That" used to be is Casa something... I think it is a cuban bakery.

I've got the answers to your thread and you can end it here.... If you want Coffee and Donuts go to Bennett's in Downtown FTM, West First St. (The better side) between Publix and Crabshack.

If you want Cakes/Pies then you must got to Mason's (Oldest/Most established SWFL bakery) just next to David's Bridal and acrossed from Edison Mall.

If you want European Style pastries then you need to go to the European Bakery on Metro Pkwy just south of Crystal. They serve decent breakfast/lunches here as well and you'll run into the Chico's crowd.
