I've just recently purchased a seasonal home and I'm looking for a reputable tile/carpet installer. Any suggestions?

Don't know any tile installers, but make sure if you have tile installed that you have baseboard removed and tile laid.....then put baseboard back down. We are renovating a home in SWFL and all the tile is laid against baseboard. The baseboard is old and in bad shape and cannot be removed without damaging tile......trying to find out if there is a saw to cut baseboard off at tile level. Anyone know of such a tool?

Do a search for "door jamb undercut saw". These are used mainly to cut door jambs before laying tile but they might work for what you want to do. Manual one is fine for door jambs but would take forever cutting baseboards. You might be able to rent one.

Also looking for a good tile layer.

I don't remember the name of the carpet company that we used but they are right next door to the Mel's Diner on Pine Island Road in CC.
They did a really great job carpeting our whole house.......price was equal or lower than others that we checked.
