I have been on disability for a couple of years now. I have a son who is a freshman in highschool. I am not legally married, but my significant other (man) and I have been together for 8 years, so "common law" is kinda there. But, since I got sick in 2007, I had to give up my carreer, and hobby (bowling-league). So now I have no life. I have NO friends. And my ~husband~ has always gone after work to happy hour to unwind, which brings him home around 730-8pm. I'm ok with that most of time but would like to be able to have someplace for me to be able to go and meet some people and get to others and hopefully get some friends. I can't do anything physical because of my illness but would like to get out of the house and have a friend to talk to now and then. I am 35yrs old. If anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear some. Thank you.

Try some volunteering. It is a greatr way to meet people that are intersted in the same things you are.

I have been on disability for a couple of years now. I have a son who is a freshman in highschool. I am not legally married, but my significant other (man) and I have been together for 8 years, so "common law" is kinda there. But, since I got sick in 2007, I had to give up my carreer, and hobby (bowling-league). So now I have no life. I have NO friends. And my ~husband~ has always gone after work to happy hour to unwind, which brings him home around 730-8pm. I'm ok with that most of time but would like to be able to have someplace for me to be able to go and meet some people and get to others and hopefully get some friends. I can't do anything physical because of my illness but would like to get out of the house and have a friend to talk to now and then. I am 35yrs old. If anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear some. Thank you.
