Hi,
I'm a long time resident of Florida and know that the cost of electricity can be high in summers. I'm wondering if the cost of having to use a pump to get your water out of the well is going to make it prohibitive for us , since we are retired and in a fixed income.
The house in question is fairly new, so the insulation etc should be up to par and there is no pool , also it has about 2,000 square feet.
Thanks for your answers.

Hard to say. It takes two pumps, one to draw it from the well and another to pump it to the house. One of those pumps is 220 so that is more expensive.

It really depends on how much you use your air conditioner. I have the same size house and my summer electric is $300-400, mainly because my wife HATES the heat and doesn't care about the electric bill when she is sweating.
