Hello,
I live in new jersey and I am looking to purchase a townhouse in around Fort Myers, FL. We are a family of 5; 3 kids(basically all grown, they're in their early twenies.) and we have 3 small dogs ( 5-6lbs).
I realize that there are so many forclosed and short sale houses, condos, and town houses right now. I am looking at the price range of around 50,000-70,000(max). Fairly new built and clean. The reason why we think the townhouse would be better is because we are only going to use it for our vacation house. We won't be living there, so it'd be easier to maintain the place as a townhome than a regular house. Do you guys agree?
And is Fort Myers, a nice, quiet, no crime area? We want to make sure that we are purchasing our second home in a nice area. We were there last year and stayed right on the fort myers beach.
do you have any suggestions as to which townhomes to look into?
please help us out here. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
