It is very frustrating! I have tried several shampoos and keep coming back... Is there anything I can put in the yard to kill the fleas that won't harm the dogs?

Get them on the topicals such as Revolution from your vet.

With the mild winter we had this year, the fleas are going to be really bad...

Fleas are bad in the yard in Burleson. We hired a company to spray the yard. Also bad around farm in West, Tx. and had to have house sprayed and the yard.

Put a yeast tablet in their food everyday, you'll be surprised how well it works. You can buy a large bottle of Brewer's Yeast at Walmart for a little bit of nothing. I'd recommend getting the fleas off the dog and treating the yard and then using the yeast tablets as a maintenance tool to keep them off.

We had to have our yard foamed years ago soon after we moved to Bedford
it was horrible==they were in the house--jumping on us
we had to have the house treated as well
fleas are tough to get rid of and require some dangerous chemicals if you use exterminator

don't know about diatomaceous earth but people put that around the pipe stands in the foundation when they are framing a house to keep pests from coming up the pipes or in through brick weep holes...

found tick on my dog after she was in the kennel for ONE day--
went in Thursday and came out Friday evening--
just seed tick on her ear--but perfect place for one dog to transfer to another--

she uses Revolution and has never had fleas or ticks before--I just forgot to do the May treatment
