Hello Well Informed Texans!

Please share some of your Fort Worth knowledge with me.

I am moving out in July to lovely FW and we are looking for an apartment or house to rent in 76109 or 76110. We can do a 6,9 or 12mo lease. We prefer something that feeds to Tanglewood elementary or Lily Clayton. We will need at least a 3BR.

There is not much in the MLS for rentals, so I am hoping for your suggestions!

If you know of any great property management sites or anything that might help, I will greatly appreciate it.

Thank you!

Best Regards,
Future Texan

We're relocating to the DFW area in August. We've been using craigslist and hotpads.com to look at rentals. Hotpads has great search features, and appears to aggregate from many sources.

Thanks for the help. I think the pickings are slim where we are looking - Neighborhoods that feed to Tanglewood Elementary or Lily B Clayton.

We are OK with spending $1600-$2100 for a 3BR/1BA or a 3/2. We prefer a SFH, but will consider a duplex or whatever else might work.

that area is probably pretty stable--if homes come on the market to sell they probably do in reasonable time...
rentals probably are taken up for same reasons--
if you have more lead time you might have been able to
"place an order" with mgmt company and get first dibs on new leases

Here's a far fetched idea......noticed a house in the Clayton Elem. district that has been on the market 110 days now.....very long for that area. You could try contacting the listing agent and see if they would be interested in renting. Could try several. Here's the one I noticed. $415,000 2426 Warner Road, Fort Worth, TX 76110.... worth a long-shot

There's a rental down the street from me - very close to Twood elem. May be out of your stated price range though. Later today when I'm out & about I'll write down address/number and message you. I'll keep an eye out for rental signs, too - We were in your boat last summer so I can relate!
