Just calculated mine and it is:
$3.90/day (2 loans $8000 & $5000 balances)

Now, I have a 401-K loan (interest paid back to myself) that if included would be:
$1.23/day (1 loan $9900)

All will be paid off by Jan 1 and this free up more than $800 per month for investing. Thank God I can see the light!

The numbers don't make sense. You have 111 days left on 2 loans equaling 13,000.000.. If you pay 3.90 per day for 111 days, you have only paid 432.90 towards that debt. Did I miss something there?

I'm confused too.

Says the loans will be "All paid off by Jan 1"...."'that will free up $800 for investing..."

At $800/ m, that's still only, what, $3200?

Something OP is leaving out.

I do not have 111 days left on 2 loans. Instead, I am paying them off early using my next few paychecks. I can see how you would assume that based on some of the details I provided.

Also, your calculation is the INTEREST only (see thread title).

Paid off vs payoff....touchet perhaps. : ) You were led to make the same wrong assumption though.

The way the title is listed , I assumed exactly what the other poster did: that you wanted the daily nut on loans.

That to me, and apparently the other poster is for both principal and interest.

Your title does not specify interest only.

Perhaps to you that may be what you mean.

My monthly nut on my mortgage and other debt is between me, my banking institutions and the IRS.

No one else.

I have a house.....that's the only debt that I do have. Oh wait, I do have a credit card balance but I pay those off completely each month.
