My local telephone company is selling internet service for 20.00 a month. Trying to find a cheap in price internet service which is hard to find in my area. Had a sign by house wanting to sell internet for 59.00 a month which is no way a deal. Now I just hang-out at my local restaurants for free internet.

Then, what the hell am I doing wrong?

OK, I live within the confines of a large east coast metro area, but this particular valley is still isolated and farmed and therefore neither cable nor FIOS have put down infrastructure. For yrs. I relied on DSL that produced download of 1Mb. In 2016, got Exede Satellite. Download ranges 15-20Mb. which is inadequate for most web sites.

I get progression wheels and hour glasses and "Website not responding due to long-running script" or simply "Website not responding." Not talking about games or movies, just websites, like e.g., Breitbart or Yahoo Sports. Tell you the truth, this 15-20Mb. is no faster than the 1Mb. DSL download except that YouTube songs play all the way through without interruption.

Oh yeah, I pay $110.58 mo. for this satellite which does not include phone or TV. I still use over-the-air antenna TV but that's another story.

Just recently switched from Comcast cable 150/20 (throttled) for $60/mo to FiOs 30/30 (dedicated) for $30/mo.
