I been struggling lately financially and phone service was turned off today from Verizon for non payment.
Is there any way I can regain service someone where else? Sprint wants a down payment of $150, but I don't have it and I need the phone cause I looking for a 2nd job and expecting phone calls for interview.
Out in Sacramento, there's a service called total wireless. (it may be a nationwide plan) It runs off of verizon's network but it's for half the price. You're basically get twice the service for half the price. I get unlimited talk and text along with 5GB of data for 36 monthly. If you need less service than that, then that have plans with reduced costs.

Thank you kindly.
Tracfone is the cheapest, if you don't use many minutes. It's a pay as you go. The cost is up to you, totally.
Look at their website. Tracfones can be obtained on Amazon or elsewhere for cheeeep. Tracfone has double or triple minute phones. With these phones, you get twice or three times the number of minutes you buy....for the life of the phone.
I always get a double or triple minutes phone. I buy 400 minutes every year for $100. My phone is a triple minutes phone, so it puts 1,200 minutes on my phone.
Don't get a Smartphone. They cost too much. Get a touch cell phone (I have an LG...it's pretty good...larger screen, good connection with towers, contacts, 3G). Mine is too slow and small to use the browser. It's a phone.

If you use Chrome on your computer, Google has FREE PHONE. It's called Google Voice. I have mine hooked up, but I don't use it.
Anyway, if you have a computer w/a microphone & get the internet, you HAVE a phone in Google Voice.
I did a test call to myself. It rang, I clicked on answer, and I could hear & speak thru my microphone & audio settings on Google Voice. It's FREE. https://voice.google.com/ It's not a cell phone, but it IS a phone number you can pass out and for people to leave you a message.
