Hormones to Boost Flowers & Size (fertilizing, south, leaves, plants)

Have any of you had good results from adding liquid hormones to the everyday watering schedule? I buy the same stuff each year, and I think it boosts flower size and stems/leaves seem stronger. Don't think I can say the name here, but it's Super something. It's used in conjunction with fertilizing, not in place of. I really believe it helps my plants, but just wondering what others think.

I just use an organic fertilizer; nothing more.

of course you can say the name. we talk about roundup, scotts products, miracle gro and all the other products we need.

BTW i used left over birth control pills in my plants and that helped too. That was years ago.

Probably Superthrive? I use it sometimes when I put something in the ground. Don't know if it helps or not.

If it works for you and you aren't eating it I'd guess it is OK.

I tend to prefer organic methods of living and don't like the idea of adding lots of hormones to my environment. The garden thrives when simply fertilized, additional soil amendments are worked in periodically and I don't ever water every day, except for flower pots that dry readily on a south facing deck. Plants need deep watering less frequently to develop strong roots and healthy leaves.

Yes, it's Superthrive. I'm thinking it helps my plants, although if you apply too much, the stems on my impatiens seems to curl up.

Typically, I work in some mushroom soil in with my potting soils for baskets. Can't use too much of that though because it's heavy. So, it's either the mushroom soil, or Superthrive helping my plants. Maybe both.
