Some of the recent threads and discussions made me think we need some clarification on RoundUp. RoundUp is the trade name for the active ingredient glyphosate. Now let me make an analogy.
Chevy has a pickup truck called the Silverado. This truck comes in regular cab, crew cab, extended cab. It comes in 2 wheel or 4 wheel drive. It comes in shortbed, regular bed, extended bed. It comes with your choice of about 5 or 6 engines. It comes with manual or automatic transmission. It comes with about 3 or 4 options for trim packages. All of the trucks are still Silverados, but they are all a little different from each other.
RoundUP is the same, only without quite so many variations. There is Roundup Pro with active ingredients in addition to glyphosate. There is RoundUp Plus with other active ingredients in addition to glyphosate. There are different concentrations of the product. And there are different manufacturers who call their products something else, but the active ingredient is still glyphosate.
You must be very careful to read and understand the label of the product you are buying. And you must be very careful to use the product only as specified on the label.

Agreed!
But reading too much work for some people. And others decry it unnecessarily.
Let's see how long it takes for the gloom-and-doom posts....
