Hello all,
I'm in zone 9, central FL. And, I planted 20 African Iris for a border about 2 months ago, they are in mostly sun, and I amended the soil. Only one is blooming, and almost all of them are having an issue; they seem to be getting pushed out from the inside, a few blades at a time are dying and making a space in the center (they still look green, but are weak and falling to the side), so kinda of dying from the inside. Although, there is new growth, it looks like baby blades coming back. But they don't look healthy. I'm not sure what's going on. Any ideas? And what can I do? Thank you!
PS. we had a lot of rain when I planted them, and was thinking that might be the problem. Thoughts?
