Got my first blooms this week--daffodils and purple lupine (I think it's purple lupine anyway). No tulips yet. What is blooming so far in your garden and what zone are you in? We are in Colorado. Zone 5A

Forsythia crocus and daffodil are up and out... some dogwoods (not mine) are showing color.
Japanese Maple and Red Bud should be out soon.

A most miserable and cold cold winter, and it's never ever going to end around here outside of Boston. I dont see anything out anywhere, just cold and dreary landscape. My magnolia fizz buds are still very tight and small (I have 6 magnolia trees of varying sizes), and I just went out and cut back all the dead twigs on my class 3 clematis around the house (I have around 7 of these vines). There is absolutely nothing out, and it's almost April....It is depressing.

The early croci are blooming NW of Philadelphia. We're forecast for a warm spell next week - actually we're forecast for normal temperatures, but in comparison to the winter so far, it's a warm spell! - so the daffodils should open up then.

I have a couple of daffi's popping their little yellow faces and I am in zone 7 a. We had 6 inches of snow on Monday and then on Wednesday I saw this happy little yellow face and I swear it was smiling at me!!! Then again, I may be delirious.

Zone 6a--nothing. There are some little nubs coming up and I think they will be crocuses. It's been so freezing cold that I went out the other day and covered them up with a pyrex baking dish to make a greenhouse. Next day the dish was frozen to the ground.

Yup, nothing blooming yet. Past few yrs we been spoiled here with lawns that need mowing by now and everything blooming.

This year we're still looking at this couple days from April.. With rain and warmth next 5 days I assume things will pop up now and green up
