Hello all!

I wonder if anyone can help to give some light on what happened to one of my plants. I am new to plants and I have just bought a few with the idea of them being part of a bioactive environment.

i am assuming it is some type of bacteria?....

A bit of background: Since I got it in July, I introduced it to a tropical vivarium, very humid, warm and wet, and it did really well. This set up also had springtales to keep mold at bay. The plant grew a bit and seemed to do well. And then 2 weeks ago I changed this tropical set to a new enclosure, slightly smaller, with a little bit more light (just a tad more, not direct sunlight) and about half the number of springtales and slowly started to "go off" (one leaf, then part of another) so took it out to nurse it, but once outside it deteriorated rapidly. In less than 48 hours this happened:

Any one knows what type of bacteria did/caused this?

looks like you have spider mites ...a good dusting of an insecticide powder from home depot or any hardware store good luck and please let us know if that takes care of the problem .
