New to roses and just planted some white iceberg roses. Been reading about pruning & deadheading roses, and I've read the recommendation to make your prune cuts above a 5 leaf stem. Does that apply to Icebergs as well? I certainly see 3 and 5 leaf stems on the Iceberg canes, but I've watching a couple videos on pruning iceberg and the people just seem to prune as they wish for size. At most, they are pruning above a node that points in the direction they want new growth to go.
