I bought a hypoestes and it has pink splashed leaves but now the plant is growing and the leaves are holding less pink, more green.
I keep it in the house for now, it gets direct sunlight from the window. Is this normal that it has less pink in the leaves as it grows tall? The plant looks very healthy and has grown 2-3 inches since Easter.
I happened today to go by the place I purchased it from and saw the same exact plant and they had much more pink. Do I need to plant it outside? I was worried about the frost threat in April. It's staying 75-80 degrees now outside so that threat is over.
It is suffering from either too much light or too little light. It does the best in bright but indirect lighting. I have had mine for years and I do move it around as the lighting due to seasons changes.

Thank you!
