Newbie gardener here. For Mother's Day I received a beautiful pot of yellow daisies. Are these a perennial that can be replanted in my garden? Thanks!

Depends. Osteopermum/African Daisy? Or Gerbera/Gerber? Those are the two most common at this time of the year.

Depending on your zone, the gerbers could act like perennials. The African Daisies are annuals, but could reseed.

I don't know what type they are. I don't think they are Gerber/Gerbera. They look like Black Eyed Susans only completely yellow. I'm going to go ahead and plant them in the garden and see what happens! Thanks.
