I am looking for a flower tree for my backyard. It must be around 10-15 feet MAX.

I liked Okame Cherry Blossom but I don't think that is suitable for Houston climate. I found Magnolia Randy which looks little similar but need more options.

What about a Crepe Myrtle or Saucer Magnolia?

Dogwood or an Eastern Redbud. Camelias are nice too.

I was going to mention these, too. I'm not sure how the Eastern Redbud would do in your warmer climate, though.

I also have a smaller Magnolia variety that only reaches about 12' tall.

When I lived in San Diego, I grew an Eastern Redbud and a Western Redbud and both did very nicely. Nice alternative to nothing but palm trees in our yard.
