Tons of trees on ancestry have linked Anna Marie Devilbiss, daughter of Caspar Conrad, but if they had bothered to look a little further, they are linking her marriage to Jacob Ramsburg to Krigbaum.
I have all the church records for the kids, and Anna Marie no last name is listed.

No, like you, I periodically consider it for my brick walls but then I think it's way too much money and ultimately, I'll be frustrated if they are able to find something I was not. The whole joy of genealogy is the thrill of finding something new myself.

First off — the marriage year is the same as the Devilbiss/Ramsburg marriage. And my past research was Hans Michael, found two Anna Marias. Which in German families of the time means Anna Maria 1 passed away. AnnaMaria 2 was 10 years younger. I can’t imagine a 12 year old girl marrying a 31 year old man. Let alone a 31-year-old man marrying a two-year-old and her giving birth to next year just doesn’t going to happen.

Hmmmm..................Frederick County, Maryland, or Allegany County, Maryland, or both?
Allegany was part of Frederick until 1776 and then part of Washington until 1789. So you could have a situation where the records are stored in different counties, or a family that moved west from Frederick.
Either way, you may want to look into Allegany County Maryland resources if you haven't already. Kreighbaum is a bit of a "prestige" name around these parts. I recognized it instantly from Corriganville, Maryland, once known as "Kreighbaum" if memory serves. Try 'Western Maryland History" if you are on Facebook. Someone there will likely know about the family. It is a closed group, but I know the admin really well if they give you any problems

Oh yeah, if Kreighbaum was involved in the purchase or sale of a Deakins Lot (the land grant parcels divvied out soldiers, and sold to squatters after the Revolutionary War) than that Facebook site is absolutely the place to go. There are Deakins Lot experts there who may be able to help.
I wasn't able to find that name (or the alt. spellings) associated with any Deakins Lot grants, but he could have bought parcels from an absentee grantee.........have seen lots of those cases in the old land records.

A year later, one of my grandmothers cousins contacted my sister through fb (For some reason- in our child hood after my great aunt died, no contact, we don't know why-could just be geographical distance and life). He removed all the bricks. My view- sometimes it will just be a mystery, sometimes it just takes time.

Yeah, that's what I mean, I feel like whatever they come back with I'm just going to think "I could have gotten there myself eventually" and then I'll be kicking myself for spending $1,500+ on something I could have done myself.
