We are scheduled to close on the sale of our current house in about two weeks. Unfortunately, since it took so long to find a new place, we won't be closing on our new home until two weeks after that. So, there are going to be two weeks where we are essentially "homeless."
I'm wondering if anyone here has experience with moving with sort sort of transitional gap and how you handled it. I'm thinking our only real option is pod type storage units, but I really was hoping to go with a traditional mover.
They are usually way more $$$ than ABF's Upack, PODS, PackRat, Uhaul's Ubox, etc. But if you want "full-service" plus storage but without your stuff being unloaded and reloaded from storage, it is one way to go.

Thanks. Unfortunately it looks like they don't service my area so PODs it is.
Call a couple of moving companies and ask what they suggest. Once they stored the stuff for me in one of their trailers for a week.
