My daughter is relocating to the Baltimore area in January, and I would like to do a road trip with her and help her move some of her ( non bulky items) belongings. Ideally would like to deliver a reliable, running car/ suv/ truck or motor home for them. She needs to be on the East coast by January 16th, 2015. Can leave the Bay Area around Jan. 10th
Have checked with most all the companies that do 'driveway' but none have any vehicles that are available at that time or going where I need to go.
I am 57 and have a clean driving record and I'm a very safe driver, and would do most or all of the driving. My daughter is 22 and is a very good driver.
Willing to negotiate terms.
Any one have a vehicle?
Thanks in advance,
Roger.

Contact the bigger RV dealers and include Camping World. They are always moving motorhomes around the country. If you were willing to pay for some of the fuel, that might be a real incentive for them.

Run an ad in craigslist although you gotta be careful in dealing with folks you don't know. You might strike paydirt.

Hit up the RV forums, you might have luck there too. While a lot of owners might not want someone they don't know driving their rigs, people buy and sell them all the time and sometimes need them taken across the country.

Not the best time of year to do that though and with pretty short notice. Worth a try.

Incoming boomerang when she realizes how much Baltimore sucks after living in SF.

Auto Star moved my car from DFW to Florida. They serve as a broker, connecting with an independent service. Check them out.
