I'm about to move form the right coast to the center. I moved almost everything in July and have been waiting for my job to come through so I can catch up to my wife. Time is here.

So...

I have my truck and some animals and the last bit to move. I plan to haul a 6x12 uhaul cargo trailer.

Hauling the trailer is nothing new to me. But I'm awful at Jenga and Tetris.

Does anyone know of an app/program that I can use to enter the dimensions of the trailer to build a space. Then build basic shapes at the rough dimensions of my "stuff" so I can virtually load a trailer ahead of time to make sure it all fits?

You know, like those room designer apps? I tried to fake it in a couple of those. Maybe its the ones I tried but I they didn't seem to work well with stacking items.

My anxiety kicks in and I have images of me standing there with a dresser not on the trailer yet, only to see it won't fit.

Maybe the UHaul rental center could help you estimate the volume you have and advise what size to rent?

What worked for me with same issue with a Upack container was to mark off with tape a corner of the living room same size as the container (6x12 trailer in your case). Then actually stack up boxes and stuff to make sure it all fit.

Yeah, we are starting to work on that now. It helps to have the exact dimensions. It's unlikely you will be able to stack all the way to the top.
