My hometown of Louisburg is easily visible. Is yours?

Yep, I see my town. It's a small dot, but I see it.

I notice a huge splotchy area around western ND. Im assuming those are oil rigs?

The Pine Barrens in New Jersey are easily visible. Seemingly the only dark spot around Philadelphia and New York.

It's really interesting to see how distinct the line is dividing the more heavily populated eastern half vs the much more sparsely populated western half. The line is almost completely vertical from the edge of the gulf of Mexico due north....points east of that line get at least 20 inches of rain a year, while most points west (there are obvious exceptions especially in the PNW), do not.

I see New York! I see images like these on Tumblr all the time. I suggest you look around at other countries as well. I think the Mediterranean Coast has a beautiful view of Greece.

The I-35 corridor seems to be the dividing line.
