I live with two. one is very quiet and when hes home he just sits on the couch and watches me play video games or he reads, very nice guy. the other is a girl who is more loud, she has a cat she talks to all the time in this annoying tone of voice that drives me insane!
I've done it in the past in a couple of different situations with different people... and no, I wouldn't do it again if I did it all over. My husband is the only roommate I'll currently accept
No, I live with my fiancee right now and truth is we both enjoying strolling around our apartment in our birthday suits every once in a while, so I don't know that another person would fit in the equation. lol I'm sure we're not the only ones either.
Throughout my 20s I had roommates, most of which didn't end up well. But I absolutely wouldn't change a thing. Having to deal with different types of roommates gave me the opportunity to learn how to live with other people and share my space/responsibilties, ect. I believe that is had really helped me when it came time to move in with my wife when we were dating and cohabitate successfully. Plus, I got some great stories out of it.
Living with roommates also gave me the opportunity to socialize with people I might not otherwise. The only thing I wouldn't recommend doing is moving in with a friend. You're just asking for trouble, and my first roommate was my best friend from college, and it went so badly, I haven't spoken to him since he moved out.
I'm going to have to do it at first. Because with these big city prices, who can afford a place on their own in a good area. But down the road? Hopefully not.
