Rugby has a rapidly expanding fan base in the US, and with the success of many European football clubs' exhibitions in the US, I think it would be great one day if two major rugby teams decided to play one of their June or November tests in the US. One of the major factors in making it a success would be to choose the right location, so I'm curious as to which city or cities you all think would be best. The factors to consider:

Stadium Availability: The host city would need a large, grass field stadium in which to play the match

Airport: Having an airport with many international flights would make the trip much more feasible for the teams' fans to fly in for the match.

Climate: If the climate is too warm, playing the match in June would be less desirable, and a really cold November might make things undesirable for fans (especially for the southern hemisphere teams).

Tourist Appeal: Ideally, the match would be played in a city that has other things to draw international fans other than the match.

Mass Transit Access: I feel that a stadium accessible by rapid transit/light rail would be a bonus, so fans could come without worrying about renting a car.

I'd go with Philadelphia or Boston on this. I picked those mainly so that any international fan that comes over can learn about early US history in those two cities.

Philadelphia is currently the hotseat for rugby league - it was founded there and several of the teams are in the Philly area. USA will be in the rugby league world cup for the first time this year!
