I'm 23 years old and live in the LA metro with my parents. I am looking to relocate for law school. I applied at USC and UCLA but got denied.
Some facts about me. I am of Muslim faith and Filipino. I want to move to an area accepting of me. Also, I'm kind of nerdy too but in a fun way. I have tried living in the New York area and was overwhelmed. Everything was fast paced out there for me. I prefer warm weather and sunshine. Also, I want to live in a city with a NBA team because I'm huge into sports even though I never played them growing up in the Philippines
I am thinking about Sacramento, San Diego and Miami as options. Any others?
I agree regarding warm and sunny, but generally accepting of Muslims? I'm not so sure that would be the case. Miami in my opinion would be pretty much it outside of LA. If the warm and sunny criteria can be eliminated I would highly recommend the DC area which has a number of law school options, a diverse and more accepting/tolerant population generally speaking and an NBA franchise.

If the weather criteria was eliminated, you could even add places like Detroit, Minneapolis, Philadelphia and NYC.
I'd also say that Atlanta may actually work in terms of the total criteria.

Dallas and Houston are very accepting of Muslims. That doesnt raise an eyebrow here. Not saying the OP should move here, but that isnt a problem. My neighborhood outside of Dallas is sponsered by a mosque and they hold multi-faith events in our park.
The law is a tough business these days, so I think your priority should be going to the most highly-ranked law school you can, regardless of weather or demographics. Put up with wherever that school is and when you graduate you'll have far better options to find that ideal city you seek to settle down and practice.
