I live in south FL as well and I'd have to say the same as wel as this fantastic Feb/March weather we've been enjoying. It's sunny and like...80 everyday. Perfect.

I would miss the summers here, the fact I can get around in my life easily without a car and being able to work in the loop every day watching everything that happens.

Noisy Great-tailed Grackles. The ubiquitous and characteristic town bird of most of Mexico, but in the US occurs only near the border. When I hear them, I feel like I am in Mexico. Rapidly expanding their range up through Texas.

If I left Northern Virginia I would definitely miss the money and good job opportunities... would NOT miss the traffic and congestion.

The safety, honestly that's the only good thing about SE MN is that you don't have to worry about crime, except for pot if you count that as "crime", other than that almost all of my family members live here and I would miss them eventually but not right away.

Michigan...beautiful scenery, abundant water supply, friendly people with roots who are invested in their area because it's truly "home", lack of heavy traffic, high wages, and fantastic weather from April through November.
