We could do with a bit more nature in NYC here.

I'd love to put Niagra Falls on the Palisades overlooking the Hudson River. That would be way cool. I'd take the Old Faithful geyser and plop it down right in Rodkefeller Plaza in midtown Manhattan. Steamy warm water once an hour would always look neat, and it would serve a useful purpose in the winter, warming things up. we hve great parks here, but I'd still like to see the California redwoods here, covering maybe all of Roosevelt Island in the middle of the East River. And lastly, a mountain like Mt. Ranier on Staten Island, a backdrop for an amazing view of the city.

Yeeeessssssss!

And while we're at it, it might not be a bad idea to replace Boston City Hall with SF's or Philly's City Hall.

i would put Washington State's Mt. Ranier somewhere on the horizon in charleston, SC. this place is gorgeous, but low lying (hence "low country") and the highest elevation around is the Ravenel Bridge--quite impressive as far as bridges go).

Mt. Ranier is gorgeous and it's always a welcome site when the clouds break in Seattle.

Okay, this is totally ridiculous but I stand by my post.

I would put Ottawa/Hull's Rideau Canal running though my town. Oh, the skating!

I'd take the Alamo and place it in downtown Fort Worth or near the stockyards. It would fit in just fine and would finally give Fort Worth the spotlight it deserves.

In Dallas I would place the Sunsphere, Space Needle, CN Tower, and Tower of the Americas and place them in between Reunion Tower and Top O' Texas Tower to get that complete tacky look.

As far as regional cities go I'd really to have something like Cincinnati's Mount Adams neighborhood near downtown Louisville. It's the closest thing North America has to a European Hill Town. It's a late 1800s urban neighborhood built on a small but very steep knob shaped hill just east of downtown Cincy. It's home to lots of restaurants and luxury condos.

Just google it for pics. One of the coolest looking American neighborhoods.
