I'm 19 years old. For the passed year, I have been saving up money to make a move to a city in seek of employment and part time college. I have always had a burning passion for large cities because of what they offer -- cultural diversity, vibrancy, people, and opportunity. I live in Providence ri, and although I enjoy it here, I've always wanted more in terms of a city with residential density and a city's downtown.

Currently, I have my eye on the hospitality industry, in restaurants, hotels, cafes, ect. Which major cities have a lot of opportunities in this field? I have been thinking of Philadelphia for the longest time - it is one if the favorite cities I've been to. But is it good for these intentions?

Climate doesn't influence my decision

I'm a head chef in Minneapolis. Right now is a very good time to be looking for hospitality jobs here. Unemployment is at 3% and it is becoming hard to hire good people. The top end of the pay scale for line cooks has gone from $13/hr to $17/hr in the last year. Also there is no tip credit for the minimum wage so tipped employees make the full minimum.
