Best lazy rivers? (restaurants, gardens, bars)

I have a young niece who I have promised to take to disney world soon but orlando is way too hot for me in the summer. I just want a nice resort with a nice lazy river near a bar near some amusements for kids for her , preferably near a beach but any nice resort pool would be nice. Google hasnt shown me much, anybody been to a nice resort with one?
How about a good water park?

Your location says MD, so how about Ocean City? Beach. Several water parks. Several small amusment parks as well. A boardwalk. Bars? Plenty. Lazy river? No, but it has a "lazy" bayside with several waterfront bars/restaurants. Secrets is quite popular and has tables and floats in the water so you can have your lunch/drinks while soaking up the sun in the water.

In VA there is also Kings Dominion near Richmond and Busch Gardens near Williamsburg. Both of those places are theme parks like the ones in Orlando.

Thanks will have to look at some of those. she is dead set on disney world, I am just trying to get a water park until the fall and then we do disney up in style
