Best city for a single 28 year old male looking for crowds, vibrancy, and night life?

Daytona, by far.
But it's also met with a very high level of sleaze.
Nice for a visit. I wouldn't live there.

Default Living wise, is it more exciting than Jax Beach or the others? Thanks

Would you say it's a more exciting place to live as well?

Define "exciting."

Broad answer, yes, probably, but not for all of the right reasons. There certainly is more to do there than in the other areas you mentioned for your age group though.

Daytona is really Central Florida, not north Florida. I do not recommend it.

Why do you want north Florida?

If that's all you want, Daytona, Panama City, Destin, and around all those panhandle towns will have you covered. Sounds terrible but good luck.

Weather is overall more bearable.

Regarding vibrancy south beach/Miami is the obvious winner but I can't do 365 Summer I need a break which northern Florida does give you.

But I want to know which of them has the most weekend/ after work activities and energy.

Issue is those cities don't have any real city infrastructure.

There is no local community nightlife

There isn't much I'm sure in St. Aug and Daytona either, as far as local nightlife options. I would only look at Jax and live between Atlantic Beach and Ponte Vedra. I would actually suggest Tampa/Orlando because their bigger and more well rounded. But out of those you listed, Jacksonville is your best bet.
