I know that there are some cities that people often get confused about when it comes to spelling them correctly. It doesn't help when nationally recognized newspapers and publications are sometimes the worst offenders of this. What other cities do you think people have difficulty spelling correctly?

I was just there a couple weeks ago, great town! Tucson has the the most beautiful and scenic setting for a desert city in this country with unexpectedly good nightlife and food.
Albuquerque is a challenge for many to spell, but many just resort to ABQ to dodge any spelling mistakes.
Cinncinnatti. Just double up all the Ns and Ts to be sure.
As far as Albuquerque, our illustrious former Mayor, Marty Chavez, tried to avert spelling issues by rebranding Albuquerque as "The Q". Stunningly expensive spelling reform that was.
If Tu-sahn had wanted people to spell its name correctly, they shouldn't have gone with a spelling that should be pronounced Tuck-son.
Same deal with Boca Ra-tone (Boca Raton, FL) and Mc-Lain (McLean, VA) and Towson, MD (first syllable rhymes with what you say when you stub your toe, not with the word you use to describe the kind of truck that hauls cars away).
And while we're at it, don't blame us for not always remembering that the second and third syllables of Ar-can-saw are spelled the same way as Can-zas. It was thoughtful that Detroit Americanized its pronunciation to match its spelling, but too bad Deh Moine couldn't have been as considerate.
As for ABQ and Cincy, I usually have to look those up to spell them right.
Cincinnati is usually the town that f**** me up the most lol. I'm a geography nerd and I'm pretty good at spelling, so I can spell any major city now without a hiccup, but I'd always get confused on which "cin" had two n's and if there were one or two t's.
The way to remember how to spell Cincinnati is, 'CIN' x 2, then that stupid, low-brow nickname, 'NATI'.
