A lot of places outside of the US celebrate Mayday, but nothing is like the Minneapolis Mayday parade and festival. It is part Mardi Gras, part political street theater.

This probably isn't unique, but Louisville, CO has its "Festa Italiana".
Home Page

Looking this up, I see that Louisville, KY has one too, also Omaha, NE.

Italian (Irish, PR etc.) festivals are pretty common many places; especially in the NE

Every weekend from April through October boast unique and great festivals in Louisville, KY.

Here is my favorite:

The Forecastle Festival | July 17th - 19th | Louisville, Kentucky

Top 3 art show in America's largest Victorian neighborhood:

St. James Court Art Show | Louisville, KY

And of course the famous Kentucky Derby Festival which is 2 weeks of parades, parties, a steamboat race, the largest fireworks show in North America (Thunder) and much more:

Louisville has a festival for about every country you can think of. Last weekend was Greek Fest. I have never seen such a festive city in middle America especially, outside maybe New Orleans

I don't know that we have any truly unique festivals, but there is a small motorcycle rally every year. You may have heard of Sturgis.
