Hello!

A large percentage of folks here on City-Data don't plan to relocate in the near-future; they just like to talk about their communities or learn something new about a city they've always had a natural curiosity about. I myself have researched and learned a great deal about the following cities in particular thanks to all of the insight provided on here:

Atlanta
Boston
Charlotte
Dubuque
Duluth
Frederick
Greenville
Hartford
Iowa City
Ithaca (which even prompted me to visit for a photo tour)
Madison
Minneapolis/St. Paul
Pittsburgh

What cities have you all learned the most about?

Some I learned about un-intentionally, this happens especially when people argue about them. (many cities in Ohio happened like this for me, oh and Scranton too lol )

Otherwise I learned about Tulsa, cities in KS, Omaha, Seattle, Dallas, Portland, and Milwaukee, etc....... too many to list!!

Well, yeah, Scranton (though I had a little knowledge about that one before I joined). Also, Seattle and Boise.

HA! Thanks for humoring me, even though that wasn't my original intent! LOL! I suppose that falls under the lines of "stuff I had to read even though I didn't wanna simply because some jerk kept on flapping his gums about it."

I suppose along those same lines I should have mentioned Oil City, PA (my fellow long-time forum members will get a chuckle out of that one!) LOL!

Not much that I really didn't already know about (or thought that I knew), but I will say that I am surprised at how many people take Los Angeles way to seriously. I was born there. I don't get it? Please don't explain.
