I forgot about this project that I came across a little while ago until the sports map thread popped up.
This is an interesting project that might interest some of you to take. It asks for your address (the only personal information needed) and which major city influences your area culturally and economically, as well as other regional loyalties in varying degrees.
There is also a portion that asks about your sport loyalties.
There is an interactive map for each where you can view the results of each project so far.
The project was started in 2005, and polls are still open, with about 47,600 people contributing so far.
