What city would be considered a bigger version of Ithaca? Like everything Ithaca has, but with a big city vibe.(At least 3 sports teams) Clean, progressive, health conscious, outdoorsy, similar weather, etc. Would Minneapolis be the only choice? Denver?
Seattle has NFL, MLB, and MLS. Portland is within easy driving distance for NBA games.
MLS does not count, I meant the 4 major leagues. And the point of being in a bigger city was to be in walking distance/subway/ light rail trip to games.

MLS is still a major league, although not officially among the "big four." Is not having an NBA or NHL franchise really that important when it has several other professional sports options? And at the rate it's growing, I'm more than certain that it will get at least one in the not-so-distant future.
If Seattle fit my preferences to a T, I wouldn't let the absence of an NBA or NHL team deter me from moving there as it wouldn't negatively impact my QOL. But that's just me.

Yes, because sports wise there is nothing in the winter other than UW hoops. I'm a sports diehard. It's why I specifically mentioned 3 teams. Cleveland would be a better option than Seattle because of that.
