My husband and I live in MN and for the last 4 years we have boarded our horses in CA during the winter months. We aren't retired yet, but we would fly out and ride for a week or so each month, extending our riding season, then bringing the horses back in April. We are looking for a similar situation possibly in TN. We have 2 quarter horses, we are looking for a warmer area during the winter months and a place we could ride out from. We would like to have shelter with plenty of pasture for the horses to walk about, and of course we would have to be comfortable with the care of our horses. If anyone has any suggestions for this state or comparable states, we would appreciate your feedback.
