Agreed. I didn't even bother looking at this list because there is absolutely, positively, no freakin' way to figure out which entire city is more patriotic than another. The number of veterans? HAH! They can be no more or less patriotic than anyone else. The Fourth of July celebrations? HAH. They're a big deal in almost EVERY big city, so what does that tell you? I don't even know what else was in the rest of their methodology .But just judging by the idiocies on the first page, I wasn't wasting bandwidth to find out.
The website doesn't like ad-blockers so I can't read it. But the answer would be complex. One gauge...where do people vote yes to tax themselves on measures that wouldn't personally benefit them? That's an example of thinking for your country before yourself.

Texas is the first places that comes to my mind when it comes to being proud of the country, state, cities, etc...
Texans give me the impression that the state comes first, then the country a distant second. So I disagree that they are the most patriotic.
