I'll give two examples, both without commentary..

I hope if you give an example, you will definitely provide commentary.

EXAMPLES:

St. Louis is a baseball city.

Pittsburgh is a football city.

Philadelphia is a basketball city, but a football metro if that makes any sense. Plus Philly is just an amazing and passionate sports city period.

I think this is a bit limiting and perhaps relying a bit too much on population size. Cities like St Louis, Pittsburgh, Buffalo and Cleveland shouldn't be overlooked....especially the tried and true Bills or Browns fans who have had very little to celebrate pretty much ever.
