What other large and mild winter weather metros are reminiscent of Phoenix? (suburb)

I value the laid back sense that low density sprawl provides. The giant suburb appeal and mild winters of Phoenix have their value. Where else could be considered similar? The Inland Empire of So Cal? Dallas?

I expect you're right - Texas, parts of SoCal, maybe central Florida.

Not so much anymore as infill is happening quite a bit currently and we're seeing rising population density in the Orlando area. The Tampa area while more populated at the core (and overall) in my opinion is a better representative, as the "sprawl" is much less population dense.
