What US city (or Canadian if any apply) has the most outdated skyline? By this I mean a downtown with little to no prominent modern buildings. One example I can think of is Memphis, where aside from the Pyramid, every prominent building was built before 1985. Detroit is another, because aside from the Greektown Casino, every prominent building was built before 1993. I'm curious what city has the "oldest" skyline.

Baltimore has a very outdated skyline. The tallest building in the city is a brutalist structure built in the 70s.

The newest building in the Tacoma, WA skyline was built in 1984, according to Wikipedia (although one pre-existing building got a large addition in 2019)

414 Light Street looks really nice, though!

Hartford has a very dated skyline. Easy to tell that the city hasn't had a good year since 1990.

414 is nice, I agree. I hope they illuminate it one day. It's completely dark at night.

Out of Fresno, CA's buildings 10 stories or higher, one was built in 2003, the next newest is 1972.

A few come to mind--

Birmingham, AL - nothing tall new since the late 80s
Memphis - nothing tall new since the late 80s
Toledo, OH - nothing tall new since the late 80s
Detroit - nothing significantly tall that is new since the early 90s but a new 680 footer is under construction currently...
New Orleans - a ~350 foot building was built in 2006, but nothing else significant since the 1980s

Cleveland has a good mix of old and new. Detroit, Baltimore, Memphis, New Orleans and Birmingham are the "big five" when it comes to dated skylines.
