Hi there,

Is there a resource where I can find and easily compare state-by-state taxes (ie, NH = has "none", VT = alot) ?

Also, what the differences are if you are an in/out of state resident?

This site is mainly for retired people, but it has a good overview of the taxes by state. Taxes by State


There is a chart at the bottom of this next page that gives a list of common taxes by state with an overall ranking of each taking into consideration just state taxes, and Fed+state taxes. The best and worst states for taxes - MSN Money
