People hyperventilating over taxes are missing the boat on the big picture so bad, it makes me laugh so hard every time I see some Texan saunter up to the windmill with a broom handle. I'll take my quality of life in Wisconsin over Texas any day - and I like Texas. And I agree there is plenty of government waste here and in Minnesota. But how tiresome is this line of "reasoning?" Which populace is better off as a whole?

I hope you're not referring to me, because I grew up in Wisconsin and all my surviving family still live there. I've been in Texas for six years, and there is no way in hell that I would ever dream of living in Wisconsin, nor among smug and stuffy Wisconsin neighbors. I just miss Point Beer, that's all. It's almost as good as Mexican beer.

Which word there did you not understand?
You said policy, so can you be more specific? We all figured you meant Bachman, who WAS in the 6th District and is now retired. The 6th District is a wealthy conservative corner of MN that will probably always vote for some whacko IMO. The population of that District is about 200K, a fraction of the State's 5.5 million. They don't have much political pull.

Now if it's a Liberal policy that you don't like, then I agree that MN and WI are not great places for you (politically).

A giant mall (i.e., hell on earth) selling the cheese we export marked up 50%? Or do you mean staying in Wisconsin and buying the best cheese in the world direct from local farmers and never having to step foot in a $&@*# mall? I'm comfoozled.
