5) Will Farrell
6) David Spade
7) Steve Wilson
8) Dana Carvey
9) Will Smith
10) Katt Williams
11) Richard Pryor
12) Redd Foxx
13) Keenen Ivory Wayans
14) Damon Wayans
15) Kim Wayans
16) Tim Allen
17) Leslie Nielsen
18) Jim Carrey
19) Ellen
20) Mo'nique
21) Sommore
22) Adam Sandler
23) Steve Harvey
24) Cedric the Entertainer
25) Seth Rogan
26) Roseanne Barr
27) Bill Cosby
28) Jamie Foxx
29) Dave Chapelle
30) Rodney Dangerfield
31) Mike Meyers
32) Ashton Kusher
33) Joel McHale
34) Joan Rivers

Did I miss anyone?

Milton Berle
Buddy Hacket
Eddie Murphy
Richard Pryor
Jack Benny

I am only 26 but have seen many excerpts on the old time comedians. Compared to today's comedians they are awesome and so funny

Mitch Hedberg, Jerry Seinfeld, Eddie Izzard, George Lopez, and George Carlin are clearly missing from this list.

Also, how is Ashton Kutcher included? He's not a comedian. And if he was, he'd be pretty sh*tty.

George Carlin should be at least top 3 and he's not even on the list. There is also Lenny Bruce, Steve Martin, Jerry Seinfeld, Rickles, and a slew of others who blow lots of those hacks out of the water. There are some persons on the list that arent' even comedians like Will Farrell, Will Smith, Ashton Kutcher(who's painfully unfunny)

I'm sorry. I meant Steve Martin; not Steve Wilson.

Adam Sandler and Bill Cosby? Spare me.

1) Rodney Dangerfield
2) Carol Burnett
3) Don Rickles
4) Lucille Ball
5) Jackie Gleason

I wonder why most of these guys were not mentioned.

Norm McDonald's standup is my fav. I was always tired in school from staying up to watch Dick Cavett (wit, it's better than comedy). Lucy and Dick Van Dyke for best TV comedy actors. Smother's Brothers. Steve Martin. Bill Murray. WC Fields. Monty Python (all modern humor that's any good is based on Python). The funniest thing today is cartoons (Family Guy, etc). Conan before he went prime time. Letterman before he went liberal insane. I don't like darkies or the chosen people. Sorry, I just don't. Although Mad, Mad World is the best comedy movie of all time and it's chock full of them (chosens). Oh well, exception proves the rule. Mark Twain was pretty funny. I remember laughing out loud in study hall from reading "The Interviewer".
