This might be a tough one CDers. Name some cities where living there minus a four-year degree/graduate degree isn't looked down upon, if hoping to assimilate into the general population that is above average in that respect. I think most of us are aware of instances where there is a cliquishness attached. For benchmark purposes the US population average for a four-year degree is 38%, so cities above that would be a good narrowing point.
Seattle and Portland aren't pretentious in that way. Just about bringing your own bag to buy groceries.
Agreed. Since living in Portland, I haven’t once been asked where I went to college. You generally won’t be looked down upon if you don’t have a bachelor degree or higher.
