Haven't been to any of those towns back east, but I would easily choose Moab. Great place for folks that appreciate the outdoors.

Close to Baltimore, not too far a drive from Philly or NYC. Nice mall.
AND, it's the only place I know from the list. lol
Close to Baltimore? Count that as a strike against the place. At least say it is close to DC. At least, it is closer to DC than it is to Philly or NYC.
Those are some choices! I've actually been to Pahrump. Gas station, convenience store (with slots, of course!) and a few houses. What I found interesting about it was that it existed at all.
I chose Pottsville, as it's only a 45-minute drive from my neck of the woods. The city itself is grimy, dirty, and poverty-stricken, but it's convenient to Harrisburg and Reading.

Weren't you just defending Scranton like you were the mayor

Yes, but Scranton wasn't on the list. Out of the ten choices I had, Pottsville would be my choice because it is the closest one to Scranton. I don't think any sane person out there would honestly want to choose living in Pottsville vs. living in Scranton! I think the largest employers in the Pottsville area include a Wal-Mart distribution center, Lowe's distribution center, and a brewery. Wow! Let's just roll out the welcome mat to high-tech prosperity!
