Fort Oglethorpe Marketplace is a retail center located at the southeast quadrant of Battlefield Parkway and Lafayette Road in the City of Fort Oglethorpe in Catoosa County, Georgia. It is anchored by a discount department store, Kmart #3083, and a dollar store/limited assortment/discount grocer, Dollar General Market #9815.

Sears Holdings, parent company of Kmart, announced Kmart #3083 will close in the fall of 2017. Its liquidation sale began Thursday, 15 June 2017.

Kmart #3083 previously had a Penske Auto Center. Penske Auto Center closed its Kmart locations circa 2000.

Dollar General Market #9815, 430 Battlefield Parkway, Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia 30742-3847

Dollar General Market #9815 is Dollar General's only dollar store/limited assortment/discount grocery store location in Catoosa County.

Default Albertson's #4721, Fort Oglethorpe Marketplace, 430 Battlefield Parkway, Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia 30742-3847

Dollar General Market #9815's predecessor was a supermarket, Albertson's #4721.

Albertson's acquired 15 stores in Georgia and Tennessee from Bruno's in 1998. The Fort Oglethorpe Marketplace store that was part of the transaction was a Foodmax. Foodmax opened in 1989.

Albertson's #4721 operated in Albertson's Mid-South Division. It closed Thursday, 3 August 2000.
